“We sent our lovable goofball Waylon off for a two-week board & train, and let me tell you—he came back a gentleman. From day one, the team at Unleashed was incredibly communicative. We got regular updates, adorable pics, and reassuring messages that made it clear Waylon wasn’t just training—he was thriving. Honestly, we think he might’ve been living his best life. (We’re still waiting for him to ask to go back for a play date.) They laid down a solid training foundation that we can build on, and now we have a dog who doesn’t treat every walk like a NASCAR race. He listens, he’s calm, and he even sits like he’s auditioning for a dog food commercial. We’re so grateful to the amazing trainers who clearly love what they do and treated Waylon like one of their own. "Our Scottish Terrier puppy needed some help with leash training and how to interact with new people and dogs. Virginia was truly the best person for the job - she took time to learn about Sesame and her behavior before figuring out the best way to train her. Virginia helped connect us with a group of other people with dogs where Sesame can have fun and play. Additionally, Kate was extremely helpful and nice - when we needed to reschedule , Kate was able to help us! The resources that were provided were extremely thorough. If you need help with your puppies, Virginia is the go to! I would recommend her to anyone I know with dogs"

"Virginia, Alayna and the team are amazing. You can tell they truly get to know your dog and they care greatly for each pup. I felt so comfortable leaving our dog in their care and am blown away with the progress he made while training with them. Our puppy has been amazing since he completed his training - we are able to enjoy him and be much happier/calmer dog parents Kate also does a wonderful job keeping us informed on everything related to the training, etc. Highly recommend the entire experience!"

"I can’t say enough good things about Virginia, Alayna, and Kate. They all have the most positive energy and incredible knowledge. We did a two-week board and train for our Bernese mountain dog puppy, and she came back a changed dog. After just a few minutes of using their strategies completely transform my pup. Their methods are rooted in science and they make everything very doable and simple. They approach all situations with a positive and non-judgmental attitude, and give strategies based on wherever you are in your journey with your dog. I am so glad we found them!"

“We are beyond thrilled with the training and support we have received from Unleashed Canine. Virginia and Alayna have been nothing short of amazing. We have a 7 month old ridgeback who is very energetic and curious. We had friends recommend Virginia and were so happy we picked them to help us with Bodhi. They are incredibly patient and knowledgeable and tailored Bodhi’s training to his specific needs and personality. He initially stayed with them for two weeks and he matured and learned so much in such a short time. They didn’t just teach Bodhi- they taught us how to remain consistent and gave us the tools to feel comfortable and confident in basic commands as well as understand and shape more complex behaviors. We feel confident with Bodhi in a number of environments both off leash and off leash. We appreciate the continued check ins and support as needed. We could not have asked for a better experience and recommend Unleashed to anyone we know looking for dog training services.”

“Virginia and her team are absolutely incredible dog trainers, simple as that! I mean, it has been life changing. We invested in the 3 week board and train, and I cannot think of a better investment for our sweet springer spaniel Rosie. Before she left she had major issues with jumping on people, not listening, and being extremely hyper and disobedient. Virginia came out to our house before we did the board and train program, and I swear she is like a dog therapist! She told us that Rosie just simply did not know how to manage her emotions and the bad decisions were a result of that. She came back from training a confident and gentle dog, but still with her own personality. As Virginia says, she is the perfect amount of naughty :) I can really tell she is so much less stressed out because she has the confidence to make the right decisions. This was all thanks to the hard work of Virginia and her amazing team. Rosie now walks on a leash right by my side, we go to public places and she sits at my side, and she is so great off leash too when we get the opportunity. Virginia and her team not only teach the dogs, but the owners as well on how to facilitate good behavior and help your dog to be the best they can be. Unleashed Canine Obedience board and train program takes places at a beautiful home with acres of land for the dogs to roam and play, and we were so relieved dropping her off that it felt safe and we knew she would have the best time. I cannot recommend these programs enough. Yes they are expensive, but absolutely hands down the best in town!”

“Virginia, Alayna and Kate have been such a pleasure to work with. Starting with the introduction call we had with Virginia we knew we made the right choice in dog training. From the moment we dropped our pup off for her Set For Life program we knew she was in great hands. We got to watch our dogs progress every step of the way with the numerous photos we were sent. This is a true testament of how dedicated and carrying the whole team over at Unleashed Canine Obedience is! When we picked up our dog we could see an immediate and drastic change in her obedience and overall skills from basic commands, walking, and even being off leash. I think our pup was even a little sad to come home as she had so much fun while in her program! With the set for life program we love the ability to schedule follow up training session and the ability to have them in our home has been fantastic. Kate does such a great job of being extremely responsive to scheduling and questions we have. This has been such an easy process when it comes to communications. We are so happy and thankful that we went with the wonderful team over at Unleashed Canine Obedience. “From the moment Virginia (whom we contacted because she came highly recommended) arrived at our door, we all relaxed...we relaxed a LOT, and we were all putty in her hands throughout her 90-minute first visit. Why were we putty? Because she worked miracles. Wendell (our wonderful dog) began improving his behavior right on the spot right in front of our eyes as soon as he realized that there are boundaries—but most importantly, there are rewards for respecting them. Virginia invited us to then practice what she taught while she was at our home, and we’ve done as she suggested...and

Wendell is certainly behaving better. I’m completely confident that Wendell (and his owners!) will very soon become relaxed around guests who visit our home...which will allow our guests to relax, too.

Wendell’s day-and-night explosive barking at all the sounds in the universe has GREATLY subsided, too, and let me tell you, that’s a relief.
